Team Leader – Retail Store

About the role

Mountain Warehouse is seeking a confident and passionate Team Leader to drive a high‑performing retail team in Bristol. You will motivate staff, ensure operational excellence and deliver an exceptional shopping experience for every customer.

Key responsibilities

• Foster a collaborative, supportive team environment and unite colleagues around shared goals.
• Coach, train and mentor staff to drive continuous growth.
• Maintain impeccable shop‑floor standards, including stock presentation, ticketing and organisation.
• Oversee daily store operations, including opening and closing duties.
• Lead visual merchandising to create a clean, inviting space.
• Prioritise health and safety for team members and customers.
• Motivate the team to meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs.
• Set and uphold a high standard of customer service, resolving concerns promptly.

• Passionate about delivering outstanding customer service.
• Confident motivator with a talent for inspiring others.
• Experienced across all retail areas, from stock control to visual merchandising.
• Strong communicator able to engage at all levels and give constructive feedback.
• Proactive, results‑driven with a proven track record of achieving goals.
• Approachable, trustworthy and a natural team player.
• Skilled at problem‑solving within company guidelines and policies.
