Team Manager – Public Sector Client Services

About the role

We are seeking a Team Manager to lead our Public Sector Client Service team in Manchester. This hybrid position blends leadership with hands‑on client management, allowing you to guide a team of four Client Advisors while maintaining a small personal portfolio of public‑sector clients.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and develop a team of Client Advisors to deliver exceptional service.
• Monitor workloads, client feedback and performance trends to ensure quality and compliance.
• Build strong relationships with clients, broking leadership and support teams.
• Contribute to regional and public‑sector initiatives, improving processes and growing client relationships.
• Manage your own portfolio of clients, modelling best practice and staying connected to day‑to‑day service delivery.

Required profile

• Experience as a Team Leader or Manager in commercial or corporate insurance.
• Knowledge of regulated service environments with a focus on client outcomes.
• Commitment to professional development; CII qualification (Cert, Dip or ACII) is an advantage.
• Ability to explain complex issues clearly, both verbally and in presentations.
• Detail‑oriented with strong planning and analytical skills.
• Eligibility to work in the UK.
