Technical Artist

About the role

SpAItial is pioneering physically‑grounded world models that understand geometry and physics of real and imagined environments. The company is hiring its first Technical Artist to shape the public perception of its AI‑generated 3D content through short‑form video, stills and interactive demos published on X, LinkedIn and YouTube.

Key responsibilities

• Own SpAItial’s social presence on X, LinkedIn and YouTube, defining cadence, craft and audience growth.
• Transform raw model outputs into compelling visual artefacts using camera work, lighting, composition and VFX.
• Direct, shoot and edit short‑form and launch videos for social platforms.
• Build interactive 3D prototypes in Three.js, including Gaussian splat scenes and AR/XR experiences for headsets and phones.
• Engage designers, architects and spatial‑computing practitioners, running workshops, jams and partner programs.
• Composite, grade and add VFX to deliver polished stills and sequences that communicate results in seconds.

Required profile

• 3+ years of professional experience in technical art, VFX, real‑time 3D or creative technology.
• Proven track record of building an audience by publishing personal films, stills or demos on a regular cadence.
• Strong portfolio of self‑made, publicly visible work that demonstrates camera, lighting and look‑development skills.
• Hands‑on ability to prototype and ship interactive demos in Three.js; Unreal experience is a strong plus.
• High ownership, comfortable with ambiguity and ready to define a brand‑new role.
