Technical Business Analyst – Salesforce, AI & Automation

About the role

We are looking for a Technical Business Analyst to join our growing professional services team in Manchester. You will act as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical delivery teams, driving technology‑enabled transformation with a focus on Salesforce, AI and automation platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Capture, prioritise and translate business requirements into actionable deliverables for internal platforms.
• Design, document and optimise As‑Is and To‑Be business processes.
• Lead the adoption and configuration of Salesforce, AI and intelligent tools to deliver measurable value.
• Manage the full lifecycle of system changes – from gathering requirements through testing, deployment and user adoption.
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders to identify efficiency, automation and user‑experience opportunities.
• Develop and oversee test plans, facilitate UAT and create training materials.
• Champion agile delivery practices, iterative development and continuous improvement.
• Identify and communicate delivery risks, dependencies and progress updates.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst on technology‑enabled transformation projects.
• Strong background in requirements gathering, stakeholder management and process re‑engineering.
• Hands‑on experience with Salesforce and familiarity with AI or automation platforms.
• Excellent communication skills for both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Ability to produce clear documentation, process maps and user journeys.
• Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and the software development lifecycle.
