Technical New Sales Manager – Industrial Components

About the role

We are seeking a Technical New Sales Manager to lead the growth of our industrial components business across the West Midlands and surrounding areas. Based in Birmingham with a hybrid working pattern, you will combine technical expertise with a commercial mindset to win new OEM customers and expand existing accounts.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, approach and secure new business opportunities within the assigned region.
• Develop and maintain long‑term relationships with OEM and B2B customers.
• Promote a portfolio of motion‑control and spring‑based technologies to meet diverse industrial needs.
• Manage sales pipelines, pricing, forecasting and margin performance.
• Collaborate with internal engineering and application teams to create strategic account plans and cross‑selling opportunities.
• Provide market intelligence on competitor activity and customer trends.
• Maintain accurate activity records in the company’s CRM system.
• Travel regularly across the UK and occasional trips to Europe.

Required profile

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent technical background.
• Proven senior B2B sales experience in technical or industrial markets, preferably with OEM customers.
• Demonstrated ability to generate new business and develop strategic relationships.
• Data‑driven approach with strong analytical, communication and negotiation skills.
• Fluent English; French or German a plus.
• Highly self‑motivated and commercially focused.
