Technical Pensions Actuarial Consultant

About the role

This position is focused on delivering high‑quality actuarial advice for defined benefit (DB) pension schemes without heavy client‑facing responsibilities. You will work within a leading pensions consultancy, supporting both trustee and corporate clients on technical pension matters.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver core DB pensions actuarial work across a range of clients.
• Review calculations, valuations and technical analyses.
• Support large projects and complex client assignments.
• Improve processes and contribute to technical innovation.
• Mentor and develop junior colleagues.
• Collaborate with actuarial specialists across various disciplines.

Required profile

• Experience within UK DB pensions actuarial consulting.
• Qualified, part‑qualified or experienced actuarial professional.
• Strong technical pensions knowledge.
• Excellent organisational and project‑management skills.
• Enjoy technical problem‑solving and analytical work.
• Collaborative and proactive approach.
