Technical Support Lawyer – EL/PL Litigated Supervisor

About the role

Keoghs LLP is looking for a qualified solicitor to join its Casualty business unit as a Technical Support Lawyer (TSL). The TSL will supervise a team handling EL/PL litigated claims, drive technical excellence, and manage a personal caseload of multi‑track files.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and develop a group of fast‑track file handlers and assistants.
• Ensure files are handled commercially and meet financial authority thresholds.
• Design and implement strategies for sub‑team files and embed KYO practices.
• Support colleagues in client‑facing roles and participate in client audits.
• Maintain a mixed caseload of EL/PL multi‑track claims valued between £25k‑£100k.
• Achieve targets for chargeable hours, work‑in‑progress and client‑provided management information.

Required profile

• Qualified Solicitor or CILEX member with experience handling EL/PL claims up to £100k.
• Proven litigation and supervision experience.
• Financial authority of at least £25k.
• Strong advocacy, communication and client‑care skills.
• Ability to prioritise, meet deadlines and work under pressure.
• Resilience, analytical ability and effective decision‑making.
