About the role
Excellent opportunity for a commercially minded technology lawyer to join a FTSE 100 business in a permanent capacity. The role is high‑impact, sitting at the heart of the organisation’s future growth and providing legal advice on technology, intellectual property, artificial intelligence and data protection matters. While the position is primarily remote, occasional travel to the London office is required for meetings.
Key responsibilities
- Negotiate complex technology collaboration agreements and develop robust intellectual property terms.
- Ensure the Group’s compliance with emerging AI legislation and maintain the data‑protection framework, policies and procedures.
Required profile
- 8+ years qualified lawyer with significant in‑house and top‑tier law‑firm experience.
- Substantial experience advising on technology matters, including development, collaboration agreements, licensing, M&A, rights enforcement, disputes and patent prosecution.
