About the role
We are looking for a Test Centre Associate to invigilate driving theory exams at our Cambridge test centre. The role involves delivering high‑quality customer service while ensuring the integrity and security of each test in line with DVSA standards.
Key responsibilities
- Check candidates’ ID documents and register them in the system.
- Supervise and invigilate theory and hazard‑perception tests.
- Explain the test process and answer candidate queries.
- Maintain test integrity, security and compliance with DVSA guidelines.
- Perform opening and closing procedures for the test centre each day.
- Handle and report any incidents that could affect testing.
- Ensure the centre meets the needs of diverse candidates in line with the Equality Act.
Required profile
- Full UK driving licence (driving not required for all locations).
- Proven experience in delivering high‑quality customer service.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends.
- Ability to remain calm and manage confrontational candidates professionally.
