Test Manager

About the role

The Test Manager will lead the development, implementation and ongoing management of a Group‑wide testing and quality assurance framework for Marco Capital, ensuring technology change is delivered safely, consistently and to high quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a Group‑wide testing strategy, policies, standards and governance processes.
• Define testing approaches, scopes, plans, schedules and resource requirements for IT projects and operational initiatives.
• Oversee test execution across SIT, UAT, regression, infrastructure, security and disaster‑recovery testing, coordinating with project teams, business users and suppliers.
• Implement quality‑assurance processes, monitor metrics and produce reporting for project boards and executive stakeholders.
• Work with Information Security and compliance teams to embed security, GDPR and operational‑resilience testing, and manage third‑party supplier testing activities.

Required profile

• Extensive test management and quality‑assurance experience within regulated financial services, preferably London‑market insurance.
• Proven track record of implementing enterprise‑wide testing frameworks and governance standards across Waterfall, Agile and hybrid delivery models.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with experience coordinating internal teams and external suppliers.
