Trainee IT Support – Birmingham

About the role

We are looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our IT Support Traineeship in Birmingham. The programme is home‑based and designed to launch a career as an IT Technician, with a guaranteed job offer upon successful completion. Trainees will earn a salary between £18,000 and £25,000 per year while gaining practical experience.

Key responsibilities

• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues for end‑users.
• Install and configure computers, operating systems and applications.
• Provide technical support and resolve support tickets.
• Maintain and update IT equipment and peripherals.
• Monitor system performance, security and implement backup procedures.
• Assist with routine network administration and troubleshooting.
• Document resolutions and maintain accurate records.

Required profile

• No prior experience required; passion for IT is essential.
• Strong willingness to learn and develop technical skills.
• Good communication skills for interacting with users.
