About the role
We are looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our IT Support Traineeship in Birmingham. The programme is home‑based and designed to launch a career as an IT Technician, with a guaranteed job offer upon successful completion. Trainees will earn a salary between £18,000 and £25,000 per year while gaining practical experience.
Key responsibilities
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues for end‑users.
- Install and configure computers, operating systems and applications.
- Provide technical support and resolve support tickets.
- Maintain and update IT equipment and peripherals.
- Monitor system performance, security and implement backup procedures.
- Assist with routine network administration and troubleshooting.
- Document resolutions and maintain accurate records.
Required profile
- No prior experience required; passion for IT is essential.
- Strong willingness to learn and develop technical skills.
- Good communication skills for interacting with users.
