Trainee Paraplanner – Graduate/Entry Level

About the role

This is a full‑time, office‑based Trainee Paraplanner position with a well‑established financial planning firm in Nelson, Lancashire. The role is designed for graduates or early‑career candidates who want to develop into professional paraplanners and support senior advisers in delivering high‑quality financial advice.

Key responsibilities

• Upload and maintain client information in the CRM system.
• Prepare application and transfer paperwork for financial products.
• Support Financial Advisers with research, analysis and recommendation preparation.
• Gather client data, write suitability reports and produce client review documents.
• Use cash‑flow planning software to model client scenarios.
• Liaise with clients and third‑party providers as required.
• Contribute ideas to improve internal processes.

Required profile

• Graduate with an interest in finance or financial services, or candidate with some exposure to the sector.
• Strong analytical mindset and excellent attention to detail.
• Enthusiastic about learning and building a long‑term career in financial planning.
• Effective communication skills and a collaborative attitude.

Required skills

• Experience using a CRM system.
• Familiarity with cash‑flow planning software.
