Transaction Services Associate Director

About the role

We are seeking a commercially sharp financial due diligence professional to lead our Transaction Services practice in London. This senior, client‑facing position offers the chance to work on both buy‑side and sell‑side mandates within a high‑performing, partner‑led advisory firm.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of high‑quality financial due diligence reports for buy‑side and sell‑side transactions.
• Analyse historical and forecast trading performance, working capital and cash‑flow dynamics.
• Prepare and present client proposals, develop scopes and act as primary contact for clients and target management teams.
• Manage client onboarding, risk and compliance requirements, including KYC and liability considerations.
• Coordinate with lead advisers, lenders, insurers and M&A tax specialists.
• Recruit, supervise and develop junior team members.
• Contribute to business development and network building.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant (ACA, CA, ACCA or equivalent).
• 4‑5 years of dedicated financial due diligence experience within a specialist FDD team.
• Proven experience with corporate and private‑equity clients on both buy‑side and sell‑side deals.
• Strong understanding of risk management, KYC processes and M&A liability considerations.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
