Underwriting Operations Analyst

About the role

Insight Select Ltd, a specialist insurance organisation, is looking for an experienced Underwriting Operations Analyst to support and oversee delegated authority arrangements within the Lloyd’s market. This role offers the chance to develop your career in insurance operations and oversight.

Key responsibilities

• Support new and renewing arrangements, including cover holder applications and due‑diligence processes.
• Monitor cover holders, MGAs, service companies, consortiums, lineslips, and delegated claims administrators.
• Prepare reporting, KPIs and performance insights for underwriting and operational stakeholders.
• Coordinate audit planning and follow‑up activities across delegated authority arrangements.
• Assist with regulatory and market returns, including Lloyd’s‑related requirements.
• Build effective working relationships across underwriting, compliance and operational teams.
• Provide support on internal audits, process improvements and ad‑hoc delegated authority projects.

Required profile

• 5+ years’ experience in an operations role within the insurance sector.
• Lloyd’s market or London Market insurance experience.
• Strong analytical and investigative skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Excellent communication, organisational and stakeholder‑management abilities.

Required skills

• Sequel Underwriting (policy administration system).
• Sequel Eclipse (policy administration system).
• Advanced Excel and reporting skills.

What we offer

• Salary range £45,000 – £60,000 per annum.
• Hybrid working model: 3 days in the office, 2 days remote.
