Urgent Document Controller – 2‑3 month contract

About the role
We are looking for an immediate‑start Document Controller to join a fast‑moving construction project in White City, London. The assignment is short‑term (2‑3 months) with the possibility of extension, and the focus is on clearing a backlog of variations and finalising drawing records as the project reaches completion.
Key responsibilities
- Manage, track and update drawing statuses, ensuring all revisions are accurately recorded and distributed.
- Process and log project variations and final hand‑over documentation efficiently.
- Maintain the Electronic Document Management System (EDMS) and enforce QA/QC procedures.
- Collaborate with Project Managers, Site Engineers and Sub‑contractors to resolve documentation queries quickly.
Required profile
- Immediate availability – able to interview and start within the week.
- Proven experience as a Document Controller in construction or engineering.
- Strong organisational skills with a track record of handling complex drawing packages and variation logs during close‑out phases.
Required skills
- Proficiency with major EDMS platforms such as Asite, Aconex, Viewpoint and Procore.
