User Researcher – Remote (UK)

About the role

This is a remote User Researcher position with an international management‑consulting firm delivering large‑scale digital transformation projects for public‑sector clients across the UK. The role sits within a growing digital practice and offers strong career progression and extensive training.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and conduct user research activities for digital services in the public sector.
• Analyse findings and translate insights into design recommendations.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to shape innovative digital solutions.
• Attend occasional client meetings on‑site (travel fully funded).
• Maintain compliance with Government Digital Service (GDS) standards.

Required profile

• Minimum 18 months of commercial experience as a User Researcher.
• Demonstrated experience with GDS (Government Digital Service) standards.
• Residency in the UK for at least 5 years and no overseas trips longer than 28 days in the past 5 years (to enable Security Clearance).
• Intermediate to senior level expertise.
