Value Assurance Lead

About the role

Compass Group UK & Ireland is embarking on a major transformation journey and seeks a Value Assurance Lead to ensure that programmes deliver measurable business outcomes and lasting operational value. This hybrid role combines analytical rigor with commercial insight to validate change initiatives and guide deployment decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead controlled pilot and testing environments to validate process and technology improvements.
• Develop assurance frameworks and readiness assessments for deployment activities.
• Measure proposed changes against success criteria, operational KPIs and business benefits, providing go/no‑go recommendations.
• Identify, assess and mitigate operational risks prior to rollout.
• Conduct post‑implementation reviews, capture lessons learned and embed them into future improvements.
• Collect, validate and interpret operational and performance data, creating dashboards and reporting packs.
• Translate complex operational information into clear, actionable recommendations for senior stakeholders.

Required profile

• Analytical and commercially minded professional with experience in transformation or change programmes.
• Strong stakeholder‑management skills, able to build trusted relationships with operational leaders and senior managers.
• Proven ability to assess risk, monitor performance and drive evidence‑based decision making.
