Vehicle Hire Handler – Customer-Focused Role

About the role

We are seeking a customer‑focused Vehicle Hire Handler to join our growing team at Birmingham Business Park. In this fast‑paced position you will ensure a smooth and efficient vehicle hire experience for our clients.

Key responsibilities

• Manage vehicle hire and repair bookings via phone and online platforms.
• Record customer details, process payments and maintain accurate records.
• Liaise with customers, suppliers and repairers to coordinate bookings and resolve queries.
• Arrange vehicle deliveries and collections, providing regular updates throughout the hire process.
• Deliver excellent customer service while adhering to company standards.

Required profile

• Previous experience in vehicle hire, car rental or customer service.
• Strong communication and organisational abilities.
• Professional, friendly and customer‑focused attitude.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and flexible to work shifts between 8:00 am and 8:00 pm, plus one Saturday morning per month.
• Minimum of 5 GCSEs (Grade A‑C/9‑4) or equivalent.
