Vehicle Technician (T2) – Full-time

About the role

Join Halfords Autocentres as a T2 Vehicle Technician in Southampton, working five days a week to service, repair and test vehicles to the highest standards.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out complex tasks such as clutch and timing belt replacements and diagnostics across vehicle electrical, braking, steering and suspension systems.
• Perform MOT tests to DVSA standards and record results accurately.
• Maintain and repair a wide range of vehicles, ensuring safety and quality for customers.

Required profile

• Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 4 years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic in a workshop environment.
• Full UK driving licence with no more than 9 penalty points.
