Volunteer Lawyer

About the role

The Volunteer Lawyer will provide pro bono legal support to the Concerned Medics Foundation’s programmes and operations. Working remotely, you will help ensure the organisation’s health‑related initiatives comply with relevant laws and regulations while safeguarding risk and data protection.

Key responsibilities

• Review and draft basic agreements, policies and governance documents.
• Assess regulatory and compliance issues related to healthcare projects and charitable activities.
• Provide guidance on risk management, data protection and ethical considerations.
• Support understanding of charity and nonprofit regulations and advise on legal aspects of health‑related initiatives.

Required profile

• Legal knowledge in contract review, nonprofit/charity law, health law or civil law.
• Strong ability to research, analyse and draft clear legal documents.
• Licensed attorney or law graduate (UK or other common‑law jurisdiction preferred, but not mandatory).
• Experience with healthcare, public health or nonprofit organisations is an advantage.
• Reliable internet access and familiarity with standard productivity and communication tools.
