VP of Tech Expansion – Global Technology Growth

About the role

We are seeking an exceptional VP of Tech Expansion to lead the global adoption and commercial expansion of Tether’s technology ecosystem. Reporting directly to the Chief Expansion Officer, this executive will oversee the expansion of current and future technologies across areas such as artificial intelligence, self‑custodial infrastructure, peer‑to‑peer systems, and digital & financial infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the global expansion strategy for Tether’s technology ecosystem, prioritising current and future verticals and identifying high‑potential markets and partners.
• Connect Tether’s capabilities to develop tailored, integrated solutions, coordinating internal stakeholders and external partners from concept through deployment.
• Lead senior professionals and global teams, setting clear priorities, KPIs and building a high‑performing Tech Expansion organisation.
• Represent Tether as a global leader in decentralized AI, resilient financial infrastructures and user‑centred technologies at major enterprises, governments and industry forums.

Required profile

• 12+ years of experience across enterprise technology, AI, digital infrastructure, fintech, telecommunications or technology business development, including senior leadership.
• Proven track record of originating, structuring and closing major enterprise or government technology partnerships.
• Ability to engage credibly with C‑suite executives, government leaders and senior decision‑makers.
• Experience developing global go‑to‑market strategies across multiple technologies and markets.
• Strong leadership experience managing senior professionals and international teams.
• Degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, AI or related field; MBA preferred.
