Warehouse Administrator

About the role

We are seeking an organised, proactive Warehouse Administrator to join our fast‑paced team at GXO Logistics in Birmingham – Merlin Park. The role supports daily warehouse operations, handling administrative tasks and customer enquiries.

Key responsibilities

• Support day‑to‑day running of the operation, prioritising daily flows.
• Respond to customer enquiries via e‑mail.
• Maintain and provide statistical information promptly.
• Communicate with internal and external contacts using telephone, e‑mail or social media.
• Organise and file paperwork and ensure clean, tidy work areas in line with health and safety policies.
• Assist in compliance with QHSE policies, statutory legislation and other standards.

Required profile

• Experience in warehouse or administration.
• Proficiency in IT systems, including Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Ability to work to deadlines with a strong ‘Can Do’ attitude.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent PC skills, including Microsoft applications.
• Good customer service skills.
