Warehouse Manager – E‑commerce Operations

About the role

We're working with an exciting and growing e‑commerce business in Greater Manchester that is looking for a hands‑on Warehouse Manager to take ownership of its day‑to‑day warehouse operation. This role is for someone who enjoys being on the warehouse floor, leading from the front and ensuring orders, stock and people operate at their best.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and motivate the warehouse team while being hands‑on with picking, packing, goods‑in, dispatch and stock control.
• Manage the full e‑commerce order fulfilment process from receipt through to dispatch.
• Own stock accuracy, conduct cycle counts, stock takes and investigate discrepancies.
• Use Linnworks extensively to manage orders, inventory and warehouse activity.
• Work closely with Shopify and the wider e‑commerce team to ensure seamless order and stock flow.
• Monitor warehouse KPIs such as order accuracy, dispatch performance, stock accuracy and productivity.
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency.
• Maintain excellent warehouse standards in health & safety, housekeeping and organisation.

Required profile

• Previous warehouse management or supervisory experience within an e‑commerce environment.
• Strong, demonstrable experience using Linnworks.
• Good working knowledge of Shopify and its integration with e‑commerce fulfilment.
• Experience managing D2C orders and fast‑paced e‑commerce operations.
• Proven ability to lead, develop and motivate a warehouse team.
• Practical, solutions‑focused attitude with a “get stuck in” mentality.
