Founding Sales Lead – IT Reseller Division

About the role
We are launching a brand‑new IT Reseller Division within a fast‑growing MSP and need a founding sales lead to build the business from the ground up. This entrepreneurial, player‑manager role offers full autonomy to win new customers, shape the go‑to‑market strategy and lay the foundations of a future sales team.
Key responsibilities
- Drive new business through outbound sales and pipeline development.
- Sell IT hardware, infrastructure, workplace and related technology solutions.
- Identify market opportunities and define the reseller value proposition.
- Establish pricing models, quoting processes and commercial frameworks.
- Collaborate with leadership and technical teams to shape strategy.
- Create scalable sales processes and operational structures.
- Eventually recruit, mentor and lead additional sales talent.
- Own the division’s long‑term commercial success and revenue growth.
Required profile
- Proven success in IT reseller, VAR, channel or technology solutions sales.
- Strong new‑business and outbound sales capability.
- Experience selling IT hardware, infrastructure or workplace solutions.
- Commercial awareness of pricing, margins and deal structuring.
- Self‑starting mentality with ability to build momentum from zero.
- Comfortable operating with autonomy and taking ownership of outcomes.
