About the role
As a Load Planner at Carlsberg Britvic you will coordinate the efficient distribution of beverages across the UK, working closely with the depot team and external partners to meet business demands.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, direct and control activities of the transport team.
- Ensure routes comply with the Working Time Directive and driver hour limits.
- Produce optimal transport plans and approve routes daily.
- Assist the Transport Planning Supervisor to maintain departmental efficiency.
- Monitor transport management software and liaise with depots and customers on deliveries.
- Maintain health and safety compliance and develop cost‑effective operational plans.
Required profile
- IT literate with experience using MS Office; SAP experience preferred.
- Previous experience in transport or route planning.
- Familiarity with DiPS planning system is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of the Working Time Directive and vehicle restrictions.
- Strong numeracy, attention to detail and communication skills at all business levels.
