Partnership Development & Training Lead

About the role

The Partnership Development & Training Lead will strengthen multi‑agency collaboration across the local health and social care system, ensuring that partners have the knowledge and pathways needed to support individuals with drug and alcohol challenges. This role combines strategic partnership building with the delivery of training and continuous service improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Identify partnership gaps, create new links and keep partners informed about treatment options, emerging trends, drug alerts and best‑practice guidance.
• Design and deliver training workshops for statutory, non‑statutory and third‑sector organisations.
• Work closely with Primary Care Networks, GP Shared Care, mental health services and hospitals to develop co‑produced pathways and improve access to treatment.
• Act as the primary contact for partners, strengthening communication and supporting joint working.
• Support service development through audits, reviews and continuous improvement activities.

Required profile

• Proven experience developing, coordinating and delivering training and workshops.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with diverse audiences.
• Experience contributing to project development.
• Leadership experience managing and developing teams.
• Commitment to personal learning and development.

What we offer

• Salary range £35,220.59 – £37,184.91 per annum (pro‑rated for part‑time).
• Outer London weighting allowance of £2,195.72.
• Fixed‑term contract until March 2028.
• 37.5 hours per week, including evenings and weekends.
