Senior Infrastructure Engineer (DV Security Clearance)

About the role

As a Senior Infrastructure Engineer at CGI you will support a high‑availability, secure defence programme in the Chippenham/Corsham area. You will own complex incidents, ensure the resilience of critical systems and work alongside a trusted team of experts to deliver robust infrastructure solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Provide senior‑level support for VMware Cloud Foundation, Tanzu, Dell VxRail and Data Domain platforms.
• Maintain and secure privileged‑access solutions such as HashiCorp Vault, Thales HSM, BeyondTrust and Keycloak.
• Administer Windows Server 2022, Hyper‑V, monitoring tools, disaster‑recovery and business‑continuity processes.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, produce clear technical documentation and drive continuous improvement.
• Participate in a 24/7 on‑call rota to support mission‑critical services.

Required profile

• Experienced infrastructure professional with a strong background in secure, complex environments.
• Holder of UK Security Clearance or eligibility to obtain it.
• Willingness to work five days a week onsite in Chippenham.
• Senior‑level expertise and ability to take ownership of incidents.
