Account Manager – Fintech SaaS for Financial Institutions
fintechos · London
Job description
About the role
We are looking for an experienced Account Manager with a deep understanding of financial institutions and the fintech SaaS landscape to support and grow our existing client portfolio — while advancing the FintechOS mission: to simplify and accelerate financial product innovation through our Unified Product, Pricing and Origination platform, powered by smart infrastructure and AI. In a market polarized by incumbent banks and next‑generation fintechs, you will play a key role in ensuring our customers adopt, expand, and maximize the value of FintechOS, helping them innovate, transform, and scale.
Key responsibilities
- Own and manage a portfolio of accounts, ensuring long‑term customer success, retention, and growth while keeping gross margin within target.
- Build and nurture strong relationships with key stakeholders, including C‑level executives, acting as a trusted advisor.
- Drive account development strategies, identifying upsell and cross‑sell opportunities aligned with customer goals.
- Ensure customers fully realize the value of the platform by supporting adoption, expansion, and continuous optimisation.
- Collaborate closely with customer success teams to ensure smooth onboarding, delivery, and ongoing engagement.
- Monitor account health, proactively addressing risks and identifying opportunities to improve customer satisfaction and outcomes.
- Own contract renewals, commercial discussions, and negotiations to secure long‑term partnerships.
- Act as the voice of the customer internally, sharing feedback with product, marketing, and leadership teams.
- Participate in strategic initiatives such as client planning, executive business reviews, and account roadmaps.
Required profile
- Proven experience in account management, customer success, or enterprise relationship management, ideally within fintech or SaaS.
- Strong understanding of financial services, including market dynamics, challenges, and opportunities.
- Experience managing and growing enterprise accounts, preferably within financial institutions.
- Consultative, customer‑first approach, translating business needs into value‑driven solutions.
- Demonstrated success in driving account expansion, renewals, and long‑term customer value.
- Strong organisational and stakeholder‑management skills, with ability to manage complex accounts across multiple markets.
- Familiarity with SaaS business models, customer lifecycle management, CRM platforms, and account management methodologies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
