Accounts Assistant (Temporary, Hybrid)

About the role

We are seeking a temporary Accounts Assistant to join the Homes Income Team in Central London. The role is hybrid and lasts for three months, with the possibility of extension. You will support the accurate administration of tenant accounts and income transactions within a housing management environment.

Key responsibilities

• Process and allocate receipts using MRI Qube.
• Perform bank reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies.
• Set up and maintain tenant accounts and tenancy information.
• Raise charges and update records in line with tenancy agreements.
• Assist with month‑end and periodic finance activities.
• Maintain accurate financial records and respond to finance‑related queries.
• Provide ad‑hoc accounting and administrative support to the team.

Required profile

• Previous experience in an Accounts Assistant or similar finance role.
• Strong working knowledge of MRI Qube.
• Excellent Excel skills.
• Experience posting receipts and carrying out bank reconciliations.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience in housing, property or real‑estate sector is advantageous.
