About the role
Our client, Manchester City Council, is seeking an Adults Social Worker to join its Integrated Neighbourhood teams. This is a full‑time, temporary (locum) position based in Manchester, supporting vulnerable adults across the community.
Key responsibilities
- Carry out safeguarding duties for adults in line with council policies.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of adult needs and develop care plans.
- Deliver Community Health Care (CHC) services as part of an integrated, multi‑agency team.
- Collaborate with other professionals to ensure coordinated support for service users.
Required profile
- Proven experience in adult safeguarding, assessment and CHC.
- Willingness to register fully with Remedy for all locum positions.
- Ability to complete an Enhanced Disclosure (DBS) check.
- Commitment to equality, diversity and the welfare of vulnerable adults.
