AI Education Consultant – Biology (QTS) – Remote Part‑Time

About the role

We are seeking a qualified secondary biology teacher to join a national AI education project. Working fully remotely, you will help create safe, accurate and pedagogically sound benchmarks for AI tutoring tools used across UK schools.

Key responsibilities

• Design realistic student‑teacher dialogues covering cell biology, ecosystems, anatomy and genetics.
• Develop benchmarking criteria and rubrics to test AI accuracy and explanatory quality.
• Score AI responses and provide detailed feedback on scientific terminology and concepts.
• Collaborate with the project team to refine standards and ensure compliance with safeguarding policies.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with proven experience teaching secondary science/biology.
• Specific experience teaching Year 9 biology.
• Access to a laptop and reliable internet connection.
• Comfortable using web‑based platforms and analysing scientific diagrams or data.

Required skills

• Proficiency with online collaboration tools.
