AI Engineer – up to £85k, Bonus & Benefits – Hybrid (London)

About the role

We are seeking multiple AI Engineers to join a global organisation that is heavily investing in AI, automation and intelligent systems. The role is hands‑on, focused on designing, building and deploying production‑grade AI solutions that address real business challenges at scale.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and launch AI‑powered applications, services and APIs.
• Build solutions using Generative AI, Agentic AI and advanced machine‑learning techniques.
• Design, optimise and maintain Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines, vector‑search and AI workflow architectures.
• Integrate AI capabilities into existing platforms and business systems.
• Collaborate with engineers, data specialists and business stakeholders to deliver high‑impact outcomes.
• Contribute to technical best practices and continuous improvement across the AI function.

Required profile

• Strong Python development experience.
• Commercial experience with large language models, prompt engineering and AI application development.
• Ability to work effectively with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.

Required skills

• Experience with frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, CrewAI or similar.
• Hands‑on knowledge of RAG architectures, vector databases and semantic search.
• Proficiency deploying AI solutions in cloud environments.
• Understanding of MLOps, LLMOps and production AI systems.
