AI Prompt Engineer – Data & AI Toolkit Lead

About the role

This newly created position sits at the heart of a multi‑entity group operating across UK social infrastructure. You will own the end‑to‑end AI and data workstream, shaping how the organisation leverages emerging AI tools to drive efficiency and improve service quality.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the AI toolkit (using Claude AI or equivalent) for internal use.
• Design, build and manage databases, reporting systems and data‑driven workflows across the group.
• Create AI‑powered tools that enhance team productivity and decision‑making.
• Produce board‑level reports and respond to key stakeholder data requests.
• Collaborate with the newly formed IT strategy group to align digital initiatives with business goals.

Required profile

• Relevant professional qualification in IT or Data.
• Proven experience building and managing data systems, workflows and reporting.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Claude AI or comparable AI platforms.
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts for non‑technical audiences.
• Excellent written communication, including board‑level report writing.
• Awareness of cybersecurity best practices.
