A‑Level Psychology Teacher (with RE) – London

About the role

Reeson Education is seeking a passionate A‑Level Psychology Teacher to join an Outstanding secondary school in London. The successful candidate will deliver Psychology to Sixth Form students and teach Religious Education to Key Stages 3 and 4, starting as early as January 2026.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess A‑Level Psychology lessons in a high‑achieving Sixth Form.
• Provide engaging Religious Education lessons for KS3 and KS4.
• Contribute to the Humanities faculty’s curriculum development and collaborative projects.
• Maintain accurate records, report student progress and support pastoral care.
• Participate in departmental meetings, CPD activities and school events.

Required profile

• Qualified teacher status (QTS) or qualified teacher learning and skills status (QTLS).
• Experience teaching Psychology at A‑Level (or strong subject knowledge).
• Ability to teach Religious Education across KS3 and KS4.
• Commitment to student achievement and inclusive learning.

• Curriculum planning and assessment for A‑Level subjects.
• Classroom management and differentiated instruction.
• Effective communication with students, staff and parents.
