Applied AI Engineer – GCP – Reinsurance (London)

About the role

We are seeking an Applied AI Engineer to join the Innovation team of a forward‑thinking insurance broker in London. You will work on cutting‑edge Generative AI models and tools, primarily on Google Cloud Platform, and help bring them into production.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and deploy AI/ML models on GCP services such as Vertex AI.
• Integrate GenAI tooling including Claude and Superblocks into business workflows.
• Monitor model performance and maintain production pipelines.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate business needs into technical solutions.

Required profile

• Proven experience building AI and machine learning solutions on Google Cloud.
• Hands‑on experience with Generative AI tools (Vertex, Claude, Superblocks).
• Strong programming background in Python or R for data analysis.
• Ability to deploy and monitor models in cloud environments.
• Team‑player who thrives in a collaborative, cross‑functional setting.
