Area Sales Manager – Joinery & Timber Products

About the role

We are seeking an Area Sales Manager to lead the promotion of bespoke joinery and timber door‑sets across the North‑West, focusing on the M62 corridor. The role is field‑based, targeting contractors, consultants and architects on commercial projects such as offices, hospitality, retail, education and leisure spaces.

Key responsibilities

• Generate new business and achieve a turnover target of approximately £2.5 million.
• Develop and maintain relationships with contractors, consultants and architects.
• Present and sell a manufactured range of bespoke joinery and timber products.
• Identify and pursue opportunities in office, hospitality, retail, leisure, education and workspace sectors.
• Maintain accurate sales pipeline and forecast.

Required profile

• Proven field‑sales experience selling to contractors, consultants and architects.
• Background in bespoke joinery, timber, construction, interiors or related sectors (preferred but not mandatory).
• Existing industry contacts are advantageous.
• Strong IT literacy.
