Assistant Manager – Fashion Retail (Leeds)

About the role

We are seeking an ambitious Assistant Manager to join a high‑performing fashion retail store in Leeds. Working closely with the Store Manager, you will help deliver an exceptional customer experience while ensuring smooth daily operations.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager in all aspects of day‑to‑day store operations.
• Lead, coach and motivate the team to provide outstanding customer service.
• Drive sales, conversion rates and KPI performance on the shop floor.
• Maintain visual merchandising standards and oversee stock control.
• Recruit, train and develop staff to build a high‑performing team.
• Ensure compliance with health & safety and operational standards.

Required profile

• Previous experience as an Assistant Manager, Department Manager or Supervisor in fashion or lifestyle retail.
• Strong commercial mindset with a track record of meeting sales targets.
• Ability to make decisions and take ownership in the Store Manager’s absence.
• Passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.
