Assistant Manager – Policy & Governance, Economic Crime Prevention

About the role

Join the Consumer Financial Crime Policy & Governance team to help strengthen risk management, governance and control frameworks across Economic Crime Prevention. You will work closely with business stakeholders to translate regulatory requirements into practical solutions that support effective decision‑making and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and embed financial crime policies and governance frameworks.
• Assess the impact of policy changes and new regulatory developments.
• Conduct risk assessments and support the design of effective controls.
• Provide oversight of policy exceptions, remediation actions and governance activities.
• Support governance forums, audit activities and regulatory engagement.
• Build effective working relationships across the business.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience in policy development, governance or risk management within a financial services environment.
• Ability to interpret regulatory requirements and translate them into practical solutions.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management capabilities.
