About the Role

As an Assistant Manager, you will play a key part in navigating complex fiscal landscapes, providing high-level advisory services, and ensuring excellence for a diverse portfolio of high-net-worth clients.

Main Responsibilities

• Manage tax compliance and advisory processes for a dedicated portfolio of private clients.
• Supervise and mentor junior tax staff, fostering professional growth and technical excellence.
• Prepare and review complex tax returns and detailed tax calculations.
• Handle HMRC inquiries and manage technical and administrative queries efficiently.
• Draft bespoke technical reports and provide ad-hoc expert advice.
• Oversee billing, budget management, and adherence to internal procedures and deadlines.
• Support Partners in business development activities, including the preparation of fee quotes.

Candidate Profile

• Proven experience in tax compliance and advisory, specifically within a Private Client context.
• Strong leadership potential with the ability to supervise and guide a team.
