About the role
We are seeking a qualified Biology Teacher to join a co‑educational secondary academy in Croydon, London. The position starts in September and is offered on a full‑time, day‑rate basis, with the possibility of long‑term employment.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver engaging Biology lessons to students in Key Stages 3 to 5 (KS3‑KS5).
- Plan, prepare and adapt curriculum resources to meet diverse learning needs.
- Assess student progress, provide feedback and maintain accurate records.
- Contribute to departmental meetings and school-wide initiatives.
- Support the sixth‑form partnership where required.
Required profile
- Right to work in the United Kingdom.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in England or an overseas equivalent.
- Current Enhanced DBS clearance.
- Experience teaching Biology in UK secondary schools (ECT or experienced teacher).
