About the role
We are seeking a dedicated Bridging Underwriter to join the regulated Bridging team of a specialist lender. You will be responsible for underwriting bridging loan cases, managing risk, and ensuring smooth drawdown of funds to borrowers.
Key responsibilities
- Liaise with valuers, solicitors and intermediaries to gather necessary information.
- Verify that all files are complete, accurate and meet internal standards.
- Ensure every deal complies with the company’s lending criteria.
- Prepare and complete credit papers with precision.
- Collaborate closely with the team to keep deals progressing efficiently.
Required profile
- Proven experience as a Bridging Underwriter.
- Analytical and methodical thinking.
- Strong sense of ownership and accountability.
- Effective task management to deliver high‑quality service.
