Business Development Manager - Bridging Finance

About the role

The client is a specialist provider of property finance based in Central London. They are seeking a Business Development Manager to originate and grow bridging finance opportunities, manage introducer relationships and oversee deals from enquiry to completion.

Key responsibilities

• Source and convert new bridging finance opportunities.
• Build and maintain relationships with brokers, introducers and property professionals.
• Present, negotiate and structure bespoke finance solutions.
• Manage deals through the entire process, from enquiry to drawdown.
• Collaborate with underwriting and legal teams to ensure smooth completions.
• Develop and implement growth strategies aligned with business goals.

Required profile

• Proven experience in bridging finance business development.
• In‑depth knowledge of the UK bridging and short‑term lending market.
• Strong sales, negotiation and closing abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple transactions and meet deadlines.
• Track record of achieving and exceeding targets.
• Degree in Finance, Real Estate, Business or related field (preferred, not essential).
• Familiarity with UK real estate and property investment sectors is advantageous.
