Business Development Manager – Care Equipment (North England)

About the role

We are seeking a Business Development Manager to join a market‑leading manufacturer of specialist care equipment covering the North of England. The role is highly consultative, focused on building long‑term relationships and delivering life‑changing products to healthcare providers.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities across a large regional territory.
• Manage a robust sales pipeline, generate appointments and conduct field visits.
• Present complex care equipment solutions and negotiate contracts.
• Maintain regular overnight travel to meet customers and attend events.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and post‑sale support.

Required profile

• Proven field sales experience, preferably in capital or medical equipment.
• Self‑motivated, able to manage own diary and travel schedule.
• Consultative, non‑pushy sales approach with a genuine desire to improve patient care.
• Willingness to undertake regular overnight stays within the North of England.
