Business Development Manager – Healthcare Events Sponsorship

About the role

We are seeking an ambitious Business Development Manager to generate sponsorship revenue for a portfolio of established healthcare events. The role is primarily remote, allowing you to focus on consultative B2B sales while occasionally attending events and office meetings.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and secure new sponsors for healthcare events, driving revenue growth.
• Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to signed agreement.
• Build relationships with senior decision‑makers in healthcare suppliers and service providers.
• Design tailored sponsorship packages that align with client objectives.
• Deliver sales presentations via phone and Microsoft Teams.
• Negotiate commercial terms and maximise sponsorship value.
• Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and forecast using a CRM system.
• Attend events to support sponsors, strengthen relationships and uncover further opportunities.

Required profile

• Proven success in B2B new‑business sales with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
• Strong communication and consultative selling abilities.
• Confidence selling over the phone and via virtual meetings.
• Self‑motivated, organised and comfortable working remotely.
• Experience in sponsorship, exhibitions, events, media or advertising sales is a plus.
