Care Manager – Domiciliary (Home Care)

About the role
We are seeking an experienced Care Manager to lead our domiciliary care services, providing personalised support to adults in their own homes. This permanent, full‑time position offers the chance to shape high‑quality care delivery while working within a well‑established home‑care provider.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations to ensure consistent, high‑quality care provision.
- Lead recruitment, onboarding and ongoing development of care staff.
- Support and guide care teams to meet individual client needs.
- Ensure compliance with CQC standards and local authority regulations.
- Build effective relationships with clients, families and external partners.
- Review care plans and risk assessments, implementing improvements where required.
- Drive quality‑assurance initiatives and maintain service excellence.
Required profile
- Minimum 2 years’ experience as a manager in adult domiciliary care (e.g., Care Manager, Home Manager, Deputy Manager).
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or equivalent) – working towards is acceptable.
- Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and the Health and Social Care Act 2008.
- Understanding of safeguarding, mental capacity, DoLS and medication practices.
- Practical experience of person‑centred care delivery.
- Full UK driving licence.
