Cash in Transit Officer – Secure Cash Transport

About the role

The Cash in Transit Officer is responsible for the safe and secure movement of cash between locations, supporting ATM servicing and cash deployment for financial institutions. You will work both as a driver and a courier, often solo or with a partner, ensuring operations run smoothly across varied shifts.

Key responsibilities

• Transport cash securely to and from ATM machines and other designated sites.
• Complete all required documentation in line with company processes and operational targets.
• Drive and park company vehicles responsibly, adhering to the Highway Code and health‑and‑safety policies.
• Maintain effective relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders to deliver efficient service.
• Communicate any issues promptly to branch management and resolve them within agreed timeframes.

Required profile

• Provide a continuous 10‑year employment and education history.
• Hold a valid full UK driving licence with no more than six penalty points.
• Valid CVIT SIA licence is desirable; a £1,000 bonus is offered if you already hold one.
• Demonstrate conscientious driving and strict adherence to the Highway Code.
• Ability to follow instructions and meet tight deadlines.

• Salary of £35,766.10 per annum plus paid overtime and bonus scheme.
• £1,000 joining bonus after probation for holders of a valid CVIT SIA licence.
• 45‑hour contract spread over four days, with weekend rota and paid breaks.
