Casual Catering Team Member (Flexible Hours)

About the role
We are looking for a casual member of the catering team at Lendrick Muir, a residential centre run by Scripture Union Scotland. The role involves preparing, cooking, baking and serving meals for school groups, weekend visitors and various functions, as well as maintaining kitchen cleanliness.
Key responsibilities
- Assist with busy catering preparation and service sessions.
- Support the team in delivering meals for catered groups.
- Prepare kitchens for self‑catering groups.
- Ensure compliance with food safety legislation and internal cleanliness standards.
Required profile
- Enjoy working alongside others and delivering high‑standard guest service.
- Have experience in catering or hospitality, with the ability to work on your own initiative.
- Willingness to work some evenings and weekends as needed.
- Willing to join the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Scheme and undergo PVG disclosure.
Required skills
- Catering training (preferred).
- Food hygiene certification.
