Catastrophic Injury Solicitor – Associate (Hybrid, Manchester)

About the role

G2 Legal Limited is seeking a qualified solicitor to join its Catastrophic Injury team in Manchester. The associate will work on complex civil litigation involving police forces, insurers and public authorities, handling high‑profile and large‑loss matters on a hybrid basis.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a defendant caseload that includes public authorities and EL/PL claims.
• Prepare and present arguments in high‑value catastrophic injury claims and public inquiries.
• Collaborate with senior team members and external counsel to develop litigation strategies.
• Maintain accurate case files and ensure compliance with court deadlines.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor in England and Wales.
• Proven experience handling defendant work for public authorities or EL/PL claims.
• Strong analytical and advocacy skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a high‑performing team.
