About the role

Join a prestigious corporate hospitality client in Birmingham as a Chef de Partie, delivering high‑quality food experiences across retail catering, conferences and high‑profile events. You will work in a fast‑paced professional kitchen, supporting the Chef Manager and ensuring exceptional service for a diverse clientele.

Key responsibilities

• Support the delivery of retail catering, conference hospitality and special events.
• Maintain exceptional food quality, presentation and service standards.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene and allergen regulations.
• Work across various kitchen sections as required.
• Assist the Chef Manager with daily kitchen operations.
• Lead the team in the Chef Manager’s absence.
• Collaborate with colleagues to deliver a seamless customer experience.
• Identify opportunities to improve service and operational efficiency.
• Participate in cross‑functional training and development opportunities.

Required profile

• NVQ Professional Cookery qualification (or equivalent).
• 2‑4 years’ experience in a professional kitchen environment.
• Food Safety & Hygiene Certification.
• Strong knowledge of food safety, hygiene and allergen management.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to remain calm and focused under pressure.
• Proactive, flexible and team‑oriented approach.
