Children's Social Worker – Adoption Team (Bolton)

About the role

Our Client, Bolton Council, is seeking a Children’s Social Worker to join its Adoption Team. This role offers a fantastic pay rate and the chance to make a real difference in the community.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct assessments of prospective adoptive families to determine suitability.
• Provide support and guidance to adoptive families throughout the adoption process.
• Facilitate matching and introductions between children and adoptive families.
• Advocate for the best interests of children throughout the adoption process.
• Provide post‑adoption support to families as they adjust to their new family dynamic.

Required profile

• Qualified Social Worker, registered with Social Work England.
• Social Work qualification (Diploma, degree or equivalent).
• Minimum of 3 years experience as a qualified social worker.
